
CAROLINA MAMA IS AN ARGENTINEAN SINGER- SONGWRITER WHO BLENDS AN INTIMATE SINGING STYLE WITH MASTERFUL STORYTELLING, INTEGRATING THE HEART OF DIFFERENT CULTURES AND A SENSE OF IMAGINATION THAT TAKES THE AUDIENCE ON A TRIP THROUGH TIME AND SPACE. TRAINED IN VOICE AND COMPOSITION, CAROLINA’S COMPOSITIONS ARE ACADEMICALLY SOPHISTICATED AND HAVE EXQUISITE SOUND ARCHITECTURE. THEY INCORPORATE THE FOLKLORE OF LATIN AMERICA AND NORTH AFRICA WITH MODERN INFLUENCES SUCH AS HIP-HOP, JAZZ, AND FILM.
SHE HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN MUSIC AND FILM SINCE A YOUNG AGE AND HAS COLLABORATED WITH SOME OF THE MOST RECOGNIZED ARTISTS IN SOUTH AMERICA. CAROLINA STUDIED FILM AT THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ART IN BUENOS AIRES. DURING HER STUDIES, SHE DISCOVERED HER PASSION FOR STORYTELLING. SHE QUICKLY DEVELOPED HER CAREER AS A FILMMAKER AND MUSICIAN. IN PURSUIT OF HER PASSION, CAROLINA WAS ACCEPTED AND GRANTED A SCHOLARSHIP INTO THE DISTINGUISHED PROGRAM OF THE NEW SCHOOL OF JAZZ AND CONTEMPORARY MUSIC IN NEW YORK CITY.

CAROLINA MAMA’S UPCOMING ALBUM, "AMINA", RECENTLY WON A FULL GRANT FOR PRODUCTION AND RECORDING FROM THE RENOWNED CAFE ROYAL CULTURAL FOUNDATION. THE ALBUM IS CO-PRODUCED WITH EMILY ELBERT, GUITARIST FOR JACOB COLLIER, LEON BRIDGES, AND LAU NOAH, AN ACCLAIMED CATALAN GUITARIST.
